Complications
How do objects move?
- Motion is computed as a sequence of Euler steps
- If object is at P0 then P1 = P0+(V*t), P2 = P1+(V*t)
If V or t is large then object could pass through another object
Solution
- Quick: If P1 is on one side of object and P2 on the other, then find the mid point of P1,P2 and check again
- Accurate: Treat P1,P2 as a ray test for intersection with BSP Tree
