QT is the more respectful of standard option, but sometimes, standard are not free (MPEG4 issues)

Video : QT + DivX or MPEG4

Sound : QT + MP3 or Ogg Vorbis

Future already there : Advanced Audio Coding = AAC : in MPEG2 and 4 : .mp4 or .m4a
